$30.00-$37.00 per hour Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to help maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, responding to equipment issues, and helping keep the production environment safe and operational. This is a first-shift, Monday-Friday position within a precision manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on CNC manufacturing equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control-system problems. Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs to help minimize production downtime. Conduct routine machine inspections and monitor fluid levels and equipment condition. Work with machine operators to coordinate maintenance and minimize disruptions to production. Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, records, and service documentation. Perform general facility maintenance such as painting, cleaning, and building repairs. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements. Properly handle cutting fluids, chemicals, and other hazardous materials while using required PPE. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes when moving equipment or materials. Identify developing equipment problems and recommend repairs or preventative actions. Use machine manuals, prints, schematics, and technical documentation when troubleshooting equipment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machine tools. Experience with one or more of the following CNC equipment brands: Niigata Matsuura Nakamura Mazak Haas Yasda Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities. Experience performing preventive maintenance. Ability to work independently and manage maintenance tasks with limited supervision. Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and safe handling of industrial chemicals. Forklift experience is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Work Environment The Maintenance Technician will work in a precision manufacturing facility with regular exposure to: CNC machinery and moving equipment Machine oils and cutting fluids Metal chips and sharp edges Industrial noise, dust, mist, and fumes Forklift traffic and overhead cranes Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds . Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and work inside CNC machines for extended periods. Ability to read and understand machine manuals, schematics, prints, and technical documentation. Ability to perform hands-on maintenance activities throughout the shift.
