Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and be proficient in troubleshooting and repairing various mechanical systems. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, minimizing downtime, and maintaining equipment efficiency. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. Work with hydraulic systems, logic controllers, and distributed control systems to maintain operational efficiency. Detect and resolve issues related to electrical components using an ohmmeter and other testing equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall plant operations. Skills Strong knowledge of plumbing and industrial maintenance practices and procedures. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Experience with E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) systems Familiarity with hydraulics and their applications in industrial settings Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
