Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30

PM On-Call:

Every 3rd week

Travel:

Worcester home base with travel to Ashland using a company vehicle We are hiring a dependable Residential Maintenance Technician to support apartment communities in Worcester and Ashland. This is a full-time, hands-on property maintenance position with a steady Monday through Friday schedule. The ideal candidate has experience with apartment maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, or general facilities repair. Responsibilities Complete apartment maintenance work orders Perform apartment turnovers and make-ready work Interior painting and touch-ups Light sheetrock/drywall repair and patching Basic plumbing repairs Basic electrical repairs Minor carpentry and general building repairs Appliance troubleshooting as needed Preventative maintenance Property inspections Coordinate and manage outside contractors and vendors Meet contractors onsite and help ensure work is completed properly Maintain tools, supplies, and maintenance areas Assist with emergency maintenance as needed Provide snowstorm assistance when required Participate in an on-call rotation every third week Travel between Worcester and Ashland using a company vehicle Qualifications Previous apartment, residential, building, facilities, or property maintenance experience preferred Experience with painting and light drywall repair Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair skills Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills Ability to work independently Good communication and customer service skills Comfortable coordinating contractors and vendors Valid driver's license required Must be available for on-call coverage every third week Must be available to assist during snowstorms and property emergencies What We Offer $25.00-$26.00 per hour Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule 8:00 AM-4:30 PM hours Company vehicle for travel between properties Stable residential property maintenance opportunity Variety of hands-on maintenance responsibilities We are looking for someone dependable, practical, and comfortable handling a wide range of day-to-day apartment maintenance needs.
