Property Maintenance Technician REHB Management Worcester, MA Job Details Part-time $27 - $32 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Residential painting Construction painting Driver's License Purchasing Caulking Full Job Description Overview We are seeking reliable, experienced, part-time property maintenance technician to assist with ongoing maintenance and upkeep of residential and commerical properties in Worcester and Southbridge, MA. This is a hand-on position ideal for someone who is comfortable handling a variety of routine repairs, preventative maintenance, property turnovers, and general property upkeep. We are looking for someone who can assess maintenance issues, complete repairs efficiently, communicate professionally with tenants, and recognize when a licensed contractor is needed. Responsibilities Complete routine maintenance and repair requests at residential and commercial properties Troubleshoot and perform minor plumbing repairs , including faucets, toilets, drains, leaks, and fixture replacement Perform minor electrical work within the scope legally permitted, such as replacing bulbs, switches/fixtures where appropriate, and basic troubleshooting Complete drywall patching, painting, caulking, trim work, door/lock adjustments, and minor carpentry Assist with unit turnovers , including repairs, touch-up painting, fixture replacement, and preparing units for new tenants Perform routine property inspections and identify needed repairs or preventative maintenance Handle basic exterior/property upkeep and seasonal maintenance Coordinate with management when repairs require a licensed plumber, electrician, HVAC technician, or other specialized contractor Purchase or pick up maintenance materials and supplies as needed Maintain basic records of work completed, materials used, and outstanding maintenance needs Communicate professionally and respectfully with tenants when entering occupied units Respond to occasional time-sensitive maintenance issues based on availability Skills Prior experience in property maintenance, apartment maintenance, construction, handyman work, or a related field preferred Broad knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance Ability to troubleshoot common household/property maintenance problems independently Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to travel between properties in Worcester and Southbridge Ability to safely lift and carry approximately 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance work Own basic hand tools preferred Dependable, organized, and able to work independently Strong communication skills and professional demeanor around tenants Approximately 15-20 hours per week , primarily weekdays, with some flexibility based on maintenance needs and unit turnovers. Occasional availability for urgent maintenance issues is preferred. This is not a 24/7 on-call position.
