IMMEDIATLY HIRING FOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS IN LATROBE PA!
Job Description This role focuses on performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment in a large warehouse production environment. You will ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing and batch-making equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production machinery and related systems. Inspect equipment regularly to identify wear, damage, or potential failures and complete necessary repairs. Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems and perform corrective maintenance on mechanical components and assemblies. Use lockout/tagout procedures to ensure all maintenance and repair work is performed safely. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support troubleshooting and repair activities. Work with PLC-controlled equipment to assist in diagnosing control-related issues as needed. Perform automotive-style mechanical repairs where applicable to support equipment functionality. Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in accordance with facility procedures. Collaborate with production and other maintenance team members to prioritize work and support continuous operation of the manufacturing lines. Conduct equipment inspections to ensure proper operation and adherence to safety standards. Support start-up, shutdown, and changeover activities for manufacturing equipment as required. Work Environment The role is based in a large warehouse facility that houses two manufacturing and batch-making machines used to produce product in a clean food and beverage environment. The position offers consistent, non-rotating shifts with openings on daylight (6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) and second shift (2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.), and employees work mandatory overtime due to high production demand and a fully booked manufacturing line for the year. The environment combines mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as PLC-controlled equipment, providing exposure to a range of industrial technologies and maintenance tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $26.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
