1st Shift Maintenance Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for visually inspecting and testing machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment. Your role involves performing preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment following an established schedule. You will conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure they are functioning efficiently. Your tasks will also include installing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting equipment using detailed failure analysis to maintain production levels throughout the facilities. Identifying defective machines and installing new or repaired parts will be part of your duties, adhering to specifications and blueprints. You must strictly adhere to all established safety procedures and wear all required personal protective equipment at all times. Responsibilities Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment according to an established schedule. Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections of machinery and equipment. Install, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment using detailed failure analysis. Identify defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints. Ensure strict adherence to all established safety procedures and wear all required PPE.
