In this role, you'll work on a variety of automated production equipment while troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues that keep production running efficiently. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. Repair and replace motors, bearings, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, cylinders, and other machine components. Troubleshoot electrical systems including controls, AC/DC circuits, and three-phase power. Assist with PLC troubleshooting and automation-related equipment issues. Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed. Complete work orders and maintenance documentation. Partner with operators and production teams to maximize equipment reliability. Support continuous improvement and plant efficiency initiatives. What We're Looking For 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities. Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics. Experience with motors, conveyors, controls, gearboxes, and industrial machinery. Basic PLC troubleshooting experience. Welding and fabrication experience preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Bonus Experience Manufacturing or food production maintenance experience. Experience with VFDs, AC drives, and automated equipment. Familiarity with GMP or regulated manufacturing environments. Bilingual communication skills. Schedule 2nd Shift Typically 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Overtime available Weekend work as needed One weekday off during the week Work Environment This is a hands-on maintenance position in a large manufacturing facility. You'll work with a wide variety of automated equipment and production systems while being part of a skilled maintenance team. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lansing, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $63232.00 - $79040.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
