Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team with openings available on the 1st shift (5:30 AM - 6:00 PM) and 3rd shift (5:30 PM - 6:00 AM). The ideal candidate should be multi-skilled with a preference for mechanical skills and a willingness to train in electrical. A two-year degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent experience is preferred. Candidates should have the ability to open electrical panels and understand their workings, with a strong knowledge of ladder logic and the ability to troubleshoot PLCs, specifically AB 5000 and Omron. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems. Open and understand electrical panels and their components. Troubleshoot PLCs, particularly AB 5000 and Omron systems. Utilize strong mechanical troubleshooting skills to maintain equipment. Work with pneumatics and other electrical systems as needed. Essential Skills Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance as a technician. Knowledge and experience in electrical systems and pneumatics. Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, specifically AB 5000 and Omron. A two-year degree in Industrial Maintenance or at least one year of relevant experience. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Background as an Electrician with troubleshooting experience is considered. Experience beyond installation work, such as wire bending and conduit work. The work environment is clean, climate-controlled, and involves working with advanced equipment such as die-cutting presses and pick/place robots. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frankfort, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
