Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to improve reliability and uptime. You will perform predictive precision maintenance to identify and correct mechanical/electrical defects before machines fail, maintain operations equipment to achieve optimal performance levels, and work with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs. Additionally, you will adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participate in the safety program. You will also help meet and/or exceed production, waste, and quality goals through a quality maintenance program. This role requires flexibility to work any shift, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform predictive precision maintenance to identify and correct mechanical/electrical defects. Maintain operations equipment for optimal performance and customer demand fulfillment. Collaborate with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs. Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures. Actively participate in the safety program. Help meet and/or exceed production, waste, and quality goals through a quality maintenance program. Essential Skills Experience in maintenance technician roles. Proficiency in hydraulics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, and blueprint reading. Skill in PLC troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or an Associate's degree in electrical/mechanical or electromechanical field. Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors. Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Experience working with industrial controls, such as PLCs, motor controls, control values, electrical distribution, and industrial instrumentation for flow, pressure, and temperature. Experience programming variable frequency drives (VFDs). Experience with corrugator equipment (Marquip Ward, MHI, Fosber, E&L). Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Sheboygan, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $64580.00 - $85280.00/yr.
