Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Handyman to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment by performing a variety of repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and handyman skills in a fast-paced setting while providing excellent service to our residents and clients. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, , and mechanical equipment Conduct repairs using skills such as welding, carpentry, painting, and basic plumbing to address issues promptly Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively Manage facilities maintenance tasks Systems Supervise or assist with residential painting projects and other cosmetic repairs to enhance property appearance Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all maintenance activities Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or handyman roles within residential or manufacturing environments Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform welding, electrical repairs, and interpret schematics Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems is highly desirable Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward residents and team members Supervising experience or leadership skills are preferred for coordinating maintenance activities effectively Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and familiarity with CMMS software is a plus Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork Join us in maintaining exceptional living environments by applying your hands-on skills in a vibrant setting.
