Job Description

Overview We are a new Pool Company. We are looking for a Pool Tech to join the family. Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become a vital part of maintaining sparkling, safe, and inviting swimming pools for our valued clients. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for ensuring pools are clean, well-maintained, and functioning optimally. Your expertise will help create enjoyable aquatic experiences while demonstrating your mechanical skills and passion for service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical abilities and contribute to a high-quality pool maintenance service. • We also have a Christmas Lighting Decorating company that keeps us busy in the winter months. Responsibilities Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining water clarity. Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks such as water testing, chemical balancing, and filtration system checks to ensure safety and compliance. Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems using hand tools and power tools. Inspect pools for mechanical issues or equipment malfunctions; perform repairs or coordinate with specialists when necessary. Maintain detailed records of service visits, chemical levels, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to protect yourself and clients' property. Assist with equipment inventory management and ensure all tools are properly maintained and stored. This technician will provide a wide range of services and duties that may include, but are not limited to, pool openings and winterizations, weekly pool maintenance, pool cleaning, pump/filter/heater/cleaner repair, pvc plumbing and basic electrical work. Experience Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently. Hands-on experience with pool cleaning techniques and routine maintenance procedures. Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
