Position Summary The Apprentice Interior Installation Technician is an entry-level position designed for individuals interested in building a career in the sign and graphics installation industry. Working alongside experienced Installation Technicians, the Apprentice will receive hands-on training in interior signage and graphics installation, proper tool usage, safety practices, quality standards, and OnSight-specific installation procedures. The primary focus of this position is interior installation; however, team members may also assist with exterior and field installation projects, including concrete-related work, based on workload and business needs. Primary Responsibilities Assist with the installation of vinyl graphics, wallcoverings, wayfinding signage, dimensional letters, and other interior signage products. Support installations in model homes, sales offices, amenity centers, and other finished interior environments. Learn and apply OnSight's installation methods, quality standards, and procedures. Accurately measure, level, position, and mount signage and graphics. Assist with preparing job sites, tools, equipment, and materials for safe and efficient installation. Learn the proper use and care of hand tools, adhesives, laminators, levels, measuring equipment, and other installation tools. Assist with street signs, marketing signs, exterior installations, and concrete-related fieldwork as needed. Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Capture and submit clear, accurate closeout photos upon completion of assigned work. Maintain accountability for company-issued tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles. Maintain clean and professional work areas, particularly when working in finished customer spaces. Communicate effectively with Senior Installation Technicians, project teams, and supervisors. Demonstrate dependable attendance, teamwork, professionalism, and a willingness to learn. Perform other installation-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver's license required. No previous professional sign installation experience required; OnSight will provide training. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hands-on skills. Ability to accurately use basic measurements and follow written and verbal instructions. Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from experienced technicians. Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain regular attendance. Comfortable working with hand tools, ladders, adhesives, and installation equipment. Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments as business needs require. Willingness to travel to local job sites as assigned.
