Job Description

Maintenance Technician Direct Hire opportunity 3rd shift
Key Responsibilities:
Perform machine repairs, preventive maintenance, and support production changeovers. Spend the majority of time on the production floor maintaining and troubleshooting equipment. Communicate machine status and maintenance needs with supervisors and incoming/outgoing technicians. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and heating systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics and identify key system components. Repair and replace components including hydraulic pumps, heater bands, heat relays, and valves. Support safe, efficient, and quality-focused manufacturing operations. Follow GMP, SQF, food safety, and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Respond to equipment emergencies and implement corrective actions. Identify process improvements and help prevent quality issues and downtime.
Qualifications:
Maintenance Technician experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures. Experience with Nissei, AOKI, Uniloy, SIPA, or resin/blending systems is a plus. Forklift certification or experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities. High school diploma or equivalent required. From $35.00 per hour
