Full-time We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Provia Door Installer & Service Tech to become a valuable part of the ClearView team. DOOR INSTALLATION & SKILLED CARPENTRY SCOPE
Install entry doors, storm doors, sliding patio doors, and French doors according to manufacturer specifications Perform skilled carpentry and finish work associated with door installations Work with quality brands including Okna, ProVia, Marvin, Pella, and others Ensure installations are weather-tight, level, plumb, properly insulated, and professionally finished Perform aluminum trim, capping, caulking, and detailed finish work Handle framing, trim, and other carpentry needs related to door installations Protect customers' homes and personal property throughout installation Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites Pick up materials and supplies and dispose of job debris at our company container in Parkville Load and unload materials organized by job including product, caulk, and trim Communicate professionally with homeowners and the ClearView team Document completed work and promptly report job-site concerns Follow company safety procedures and applicable OSHA guidelines Occasionally assist onsite with window installations when additional labor is needed
SERVICE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES
Intially, work assigned service schedule Grow into determining the appropriate repair and parts or materials needed Troubleshoot operational, hardware, adjustment, sealing, and other product-related issues Complete scheduled service calls efficiently and professionally Accurately complete work orders, communicate findings, and document service performed Communicate professionally and clearly with customers while onsite Keep the company-provided service vehicle clean, stocked, and organized Drive a company-provided vehicle to scheduled service appointments
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years of experience in door installation, carpentry, service/repair work, or a closely related trade Strong carpentry skills and understanding of residential construction Thorough knowledge of proper exterior door installation methods Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and solve service issues Ability to operate a brake and bend aluminum coil stock Exceptional caulking and finish skills; experience with
OSI QUAD
is a plus Ability to measure accurately and read measurements Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to lift 75+ pounds Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude Strong written and verbal communication skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
