Job Description
Gratitude Marina is looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our marina crew! We are looking for someone who is comfortable working around boats, operating equipment, performing basic mechanical repairs, and keeping the marina grounds clean, safe, and well maintained. Responsibilities Safely operate the marina boat lift and assist with launching and hauling vessels Move and position boats, trailers, and marina equipment as needed Perform basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting Assist with routine maintenance and repairs around the marina Perform grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, weed control, cleaning, and general upkeep Maintain docks, work areas, buildings, and marina equipment Assist customers and boat owners when needed Help keep the marina clean, organized, and safe Follow all marina safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines Perform other general marina duties as needed Qualifications Previous marina, boatyard, mechanical, construction, landscaping, or equipment experience preferred Experience operating heavy equipment or a boat lift is a plus Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment Comfortable using hand and power tools Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Good communication and customer service skills Must be able to safely lift, carry, and move equipment/materials as required Valid driver's license required The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is reliable, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and willing to do whatever it takes to keep the marina running smoothly.
