Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Window Shade Installer, where you'll bring style, comfort, and functionality to residential and commercial spaces by expertly installing window coverings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of window treatment products, ensuring each installation meets high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. If you're passionate about craftsmanship, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to transforming spaces, this position is perfect for you! No experience necessary although familiarity with a cordless drill and ability to lift at least 50 lbs preferred. Duties Measure windows accurately using tape measures and interpret dimensional specifications from blueprints and construction plans Install various window coverings including shades, blinds, shutters, and draperies following technical drawings and manufacturer instructions Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces, removing old fixtures, and setting up necessary tools and materials for installation Use hand tools and power tools safely to secure window treatments to walls, ceilings, or window frames in accordance with blueprint specifications Collaborate with clients to ensure their preferences are met while providing excellent customer service throughout the installation process Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring all fixtures are properly aligned, functioning smoothly, and securely fastened Follow safety protocols on construction sites including ladder use and proper handling of tools and materials Skills Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, levels, tape measures, and power tools for precise installations Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients during project execution Capable of working at heights using ladders safely while maintaining focus on safety procedures Basic understanding of electrical can be beneficial for integrated window treatments or motorized shades Join us as a Window Shade Installer where your craftsmanship will enhance interiors while you develop your skills in a lively and supportive environment.
