We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Specialist-Tech to join our Physical Plant Department at Pinnacle Health & Rehab, a 114-bed skilled, long-term care, and assisted living facility in Canton, Maine. As a Maintenance Specialist-Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. About the

Role:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, painting, and mechanical work to ensure the upkeep of our facility Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and staff by identifying and correcting potential hazards Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance issues and ensure seamless continuity of care Participate in training programs to expand skills and knowledge in multiple maintenance disciplines

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including:

Electrical:

diagnose and repair electrical issues, perform minor electrical work, and maintain electrical systems

Plumbing:

diagnose and repair plumbing issues, perform minor plumbing work, and maintain plumbing systems

Painting:

perform interior and exterior painting tasks, including preparation and finishing work

Mechanical:

perform minor mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks, including HVAC and other mechanical systems Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems, including: HVAC systems Plumbing systems Electrical systems Identify and correct potential hazards and ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and staff Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance issues and ensure seamless continuity of care Participate in training programs to expand skills and knowledge in multiple maintenance disciplines

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required 0+ years of experience in maintenance, construction, electrical, plumbing, painting, and/or mechanical work Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependability, flexibility, and a cooperative work attitude Mechanical, plumbing, and/or electrical licenses are a plus Why Work at Pinnacle Health & Rehab at Canton?
