Job Description

Central Maine Property Management is seeking a skilled and reliable Residential Property Maintenance Technician to join our great team! As a Residential Property Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance and repair duties across our residential properties. This role requires strong general repair skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with a team. You'll play a key role in ensuring our tenants live in safe and well-maintained homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues promptly and professionally Perform general repairs and maintenance including, but not limited to painting, flooring, lock changes, light carpentry, plumbing and electrical (where licensed professional not needed) Complete work orders and assigned projects with quality workmanship and attention to safety Provide courteous and respectful service when addressing tenant concerns Use our mobile app to document maintenance activities and track work Communicate effectively with your supervisor and fellow team members Participate in an on-call rotation (every 4-6 weeks) to address after-hours emergencies Ability to Snow Plow in company truck - a plus!
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and dependable transportation Basic tools (CMPM provides any specialty) Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience preferred Strong work ethic, reliability, and problem-solving skills Clean background check Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule & Compensation:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (some flexibility) On-call rotation: apx. once every 4-6 weeks (Extra $200 + overtime pay) Competitive compensation with the following benefits: 7 paid holidays Paid Time Off $100/month cell phone stipend Mileage reimbursement On-Call week -Extra $200 + overtime pay 401(k) match up to 3% after 1 year of employment Why Join CMPM?
