Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a Construction Laborer / Fence Installer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer / Fence Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining fences, gates, and other perimeter structures. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to lear new skills. Although we are willing to train individuals with limited experience in fencing, the ideal candidate will have experience with power tools, heavy lifting and working outside. Construction Laborer /Fence Installer Responsibilities:
- Install and repair fences, gates, and other perimeter structures using hand and power tools.
- Ensure that all structures meet safety and building codes.
- Measure and mark areas where fences and gates will be installed.
- Assemble and secure fencing materials, such as wood, metal, or vinyl.
- Use concrete finishing skills to set fence posts and install concrete footings.
- Perform heavy lifting and hauling to move materials around the construction site.
- Collaborate with other construction workers to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized construction site.
Fence Installer Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a carpenter, fence installer or in a related field.
- Knowledge of construction site safety and building codes.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and hammers.
- Experience with concrete finishing, including forming and finishing techniques.
- Strong assembly and construction skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance and the ability to maintain a clean and organized construction site.
- The ideal Construction Laborer / Fence Installer candidate will have a positive attitude, the ability to learn new skills and a string work ethic!
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00- $30.
