Job Description

Rusty Lantern Market located in Waterville, ME. is looking for a facility and maintenance person to take care of our facility and carry out cleaning and inventory stocking duties.
Responsibilities:
Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, pumps, fill coolers, stock, etc.) Perform and document routine inspection and light maintenance activities Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Make adjustments and minor repairs. Stock and maintain supply rooms Follow all health and safety regulations Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Shift & Hours:
This is a full time position for our new Waterville, ME. location. The schedule will be discussed during the on site interview to see what works best for you - You MUST have weekend availability.
Requirements:
Preferred working experience as a Custodian Ability to handle related equipment and machinery Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently Must be able to work in hot or cold conditions as needed
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers. Knowledge of general maintenance and repair. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
