Job Description
The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of hotel facilities. This role involves performing various repairs and preventive maintenance tasks to guarantee a safe and pleasant environment for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of hotel premises, including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house facilities. Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, addressing issues efficiently and professionally. Assist in the setup and maintenance of hotel equipment, such as laundry machines, kitchen appliances, and pool facilities. Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and storage areas. Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Participate in emergency response drills and maintain knowledge of emergency procedures. Document all maintenance activities and repairs in the maintenance log.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in maintenance or a related field is a plus. Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests and staff. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Pay:
