Job Description
SUMMARY:
Perform skilled maintenance assignments necessary to ensure the proper upkeep and efficient operation of all LISD buildings, grounds and equipment.
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Required:
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED
Valid Michigan driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
3-5+ years of experience in building maintenance or a related skilled trade
Preferred:
Valid license, journeyperson card, or accredited certification in one or more of the following:
Building Maintenance & Alterations
General Building Contractor
Low Voltage Electrical
Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) S-5 Water Works System Operator Certification, or the ability to obtain the initial certification within two (2) years of employment.
Experience with HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Up to 260 days; up to 8 hours per day.
Grade = E Hourly, Non-Exempt
$25.63 (Includes Third Party Premium)
