Job Description

Description:
The maintenance technician will work with the team to troubleshoot production issues, provide preventative maintenance to equipment and repairs as needed .
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment (Air Compressor, Rolling Stock, Production Machinery, HVAC, plumbing, etc.) Able to troubleshoot machinery/reading schematics. Perform timely repairs on hand tools as needed (e.g. drills, saws). Communicate needs with purchasing department proactively. Repair/rebuild welding leads. Use knowledge to perform maintenance during production when there is an issue as needed. Practice proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures if applicable. Fill Loctite cartridges for departments as needed. Store tools and materials in proper locations when not in use. Maintain clean and safe work area.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Prior experience working preventative maintenance in a manufacturing facility. Electrical background helpful. Use various power and hand tools, experience required. Able to read and use a tape measure. Read and follow work instructions. Able to work 40 - 60 hours a week. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Good attendance is a must.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting. Must be able to move up to 75 pounds at times. Follow health and safety rules. Wear PPE as required.
