A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. This role ensures our facilities at Arcadia Bluffs remain safe, functional, and visually exceptional for guests and staff. This position is full-time, year-round. This position is expected to work about 40 hours per week with hours varying during peak and off seasons.

Responsibilities:
Support routine maintenance activities, including minor repairs and upkeep of buildings and facilities Assist in maintaining a building maintenance plan that ensures maximum efficiency and utilizes preventative maintenance on all equipment. Help ensure timely response to maintenance needs and work orders Maintain open lines of communication with department heads to make sure all departments maintenance needs are satisfied. Participate in on-call coverage for after-hours maintenance issues
Qualifications:
Must have at least 3 years experience in building, electrical, plumbing, HVAC or full maintenance. Related fields will also be considered. General knowledge of building systems and repair techniques Dependable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic Strong communication and problem-solving skills Possess the ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and deadlines across multiple lines of business. Be able to assess situations and formulate a plan of resolution in a timely manner, allowing for the uninterrupted flow of operations. Ability to work well and communicate appropriately with all levels of staff members.
