Are you looking for a new career opportunity? Join our team as we launch the new Holiday Inn Express in Big Rapids, Michigan. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to assist with daily tasks during the final stages of construction and transition into a long-term role ensuring our guests' safety and comfort. We need a master multi-tasker with the technical expertise to keep our property in pristine condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Act with flexibility to address ad-hoc duties and assist the team in completing time-sensitive tasks. Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all guests. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure high facility standards. Oversee physical operations, including repairs, security, and general maintenance. Build strong professional relationships with guests, regulatory agencies, and external partners.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; additional training in HVAC or previous hotel/apartment maintenance experience is highly encouraged. Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry is a significant plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
