Maintenance Technician (Temporary) Woodland Village | Brighton, MI Woodland Village is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is responsible for helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning community for our residents and staff.
Schedule:
Temporary Position | 8:30 AM - 4:30
PM What You'll Do:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the community Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs Maintain and repair community and kitchen equipment Complete painting and furniture refinishing projects as needed Support floor care activities, including vacuuming, shampooing, disinfecting, and deodorizing Calibrate thermostats and perform minor equipment repairs Operate, test, and complete preventive maintenance on generators and other facility systems Maintain grounds, equipment, and building systems in accordance with safety standards and community procedures
What You'll Bring:
High School Diploma or GED required Minimum six months of maintenance experience preferred Experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care environments is a plus Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities If you enjoy hands-on problem-solving and take pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, we encourage you to apply.
