Maintenance Technician Base Pay:

starting at $27/hr; negotiable based on skill set & experience Metal Stamping facility in Dundee MI is seeking Maintenance Technician - Monday thru Friday 8-10 hr shifts - coverage dependent, occasional Saturdays 6 hr shift

Job Skill Set Description:

Basic electrical understanding and experience with 3-phase 460v/230v and controls 120vac/24vac/12vac. Basic mechanical skills preferred Troubleshot mechanical devices, equipment, and tune in for issues with accuracy, remove and dissemble machine mechanisms including cranes, hoists, forklift, etc. Knowledge of normal shop tools, hand grinder, drills, lathe, etc. Experience with welding (MIG) and basic fabrication skills. Safety focus in safety related activities such as LOTO, Electrical, welding, fall protection, etc. Must be able to interpret electrical prints and use for troubleshooting machine circuits, wiring, and ability to provide corrective actions. Knowledge of the electrical code (OSHA, MIOSHA, NEC, ANSI, etc.) Able to perform general maintenance skills such as oiling, cleaning, greasing machines according OEM requirements. Ability to perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on equipment and facility areas: While completing all troubleshooting, analyses, and provides appropriate recommendations or conclusions. Ability to oversee performing troubleshooting tasks and repair works on complex industrial machines / press(s). Ability to design systems and work from sketches, blueprints, and manuals. Ability to make mathematical computations. Ability to keep work area clean and organized.

Experience:

Maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment / facility Knowledge of machine operation principles and functions Excellent communication to all levels of organization and working in team-oriented department PLC programming skills preferred, Basic computer skills (PLEX, laptops, Search engines, Excel) High School Diploma (GED) or higher education required 1+ years metal stamping experience preferred.
