Job Description

THIS MAINTENANCE/CUSTODIAL
position will support the required management of this Ferndale facility and apartment maintenance to maintain curb appeal and quality of property. Duties include supporting all daily and preventative maintenance needs in conjunction with a Lead Maintenance technician within a 200-unit senior apartment community.
Job Duties:
Assist in assessment, contracting and overseeing of community repairs.

Conduct property and apartment (inspections and reporting) with staff membersAssist in scheduling of turning of apartment.

Diagnose and solve maintenance issues in areas of electrical, plumbing and appliances.

Provide technical and project direction to contracted vendors.

Maintain major service and maintenance records.

Address ADA and environmental needs.

Work with the management staff in providing day-to-day maintenance needs of the community.
