Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of power equipment, including lawn mowers, lawn machines, and small engines. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, supporting our operational needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with engine repairs and power equipment maintenance, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on lawn mowers, lawn machines, and other power equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct small engine maintenance and troubleshoot engine issues to identify necessary repairs or replacements. Repair and service power equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and similar machinery. Diagnose mechanical problems accurately and implement effective repair solutions promptly. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist in the inspection of equipment to identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns. Requirements Proven experience in maintenance and repair of small engines and power equipment. Knowledge of mower maintenance, lawn machine upkeep, and small engine repairs. Ability to troubleshoot engine problems efficiently and perform necessary repairs. Strong mechanical skills with attention to detail and safety procedures. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills for documenting work performed and communicating with team members. Relevant certifications or technical training in small engine repair or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
