This position is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, functionality, and appearance of the property while responding quickly to guest and operational maintenance needs. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance throughout guest rooms and public areas Complete basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs Troubleshoot maintenance concerns and equipment issues Complete minor drywall, painting, caulking, and cosmetic repairs Repair and maintain doors, locks, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and bathroom equipment Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests Conduct routine property and room inspections Maintain maintenance logs and document completed repairs Keep tools, equipment, and maintenance areas organized Assist with exterior upkeep, grounds, and seasonal maintenance Identify larger repair needs and communicate them to hotel management Follow all safety procedures and hotel standards Qualifications Previous hotel, apartment, building, or general maintenance experience preferred Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs Dependable with strong attendance and communication Comfortable interacting with guests professionally Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working on your feet Flexible availability, including occasional weekends or holidays as needed What We're Looking For We need someone who is hands-on, proactive, and takes pride in their work.
