Job Description
e are currently seeking a dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Holly, Michigan . This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who is looking for a long-term position with a property management team. The Maintenance Technician will primarily assist with apartment turns and basic resident work orders , helping ensure apartments are ready for new residents and the community remains well maintained. Responsibilities Complete apartment turns and make-ready work between residents Respond to basic resident maintenance work orders Perform minor plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, drains, and fixtures Complete minor electrical repairs such as outlets, switches, light fixtures, and bulbs Perform drywall patching, painting, caulking, and other general repairs Replace or repair basic hardware, doors, locks, blinds, and fixtures Assist with appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs Inspect vacant apartments and identify maintenance needs Maintain clean and safe work areas Assist the maintenance team with general property upkeep as needed Communicate completed work and outstanding maintenance issues to property management Qualifications Previous apartment, residential, hotel, facilities, or general maintenance experience preferred Experience with apartment turns or make-ready work is a plus Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general repairs Ability to use common hand and power tools Ability to work independently and complete assigned work orders Dependable transportation and reliable attendance Professional attitude when interacting with residents and property staff Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with apartment maintenance Why Apply?
