Job Description

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Iron River, MI Team! The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment. This role ensures that machinery operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.
MAJOR DUTIES
Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, including inspection, lubrication, and adjustmentsDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsTroubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective actions quicklyRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsInstall, align, and calibrate new machinery and equipmentMaintain accurate maintenance records and logsFollow safety standards and comply with OSHA regulationsAssist in preventive and predictive maintenance programsCollaborate with production teams to minimize downtimeIdentify opportunities for process and equipment improvements
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma (technical or trade school); Associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field preferredExperience with industrial machinery maintenanceKnowledge of electrical systems (motors, PLCs, wiring)Familiarity with mechanical systems (gearboxes, conveyors, pumps)Ability to use hand and power tools safelyStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsBasic computer skills for maintenance tracking systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with PLC programming and automation systems preferredCertification in maintenance or electrical systems preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.
