Industrial Maintenance Technician Ironwood, MI 49938 From $24 an hour
  • Full-time From $24 an hour
  • Full-time ```Duties```
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and address them promptly.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from various departments and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance projects and ensure efficient operations.
  • Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections. ```Qualifications```
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and motors.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Experience with supervising or leading a team is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically and troubleshoot effectively.
