Job Description

Seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to help maintain our manufactured home community. This position is ideal for someone with broad residential maintenance and repair skills who takes pride in completing work correctly and responding promptly to residents' needs. Responsibilities Complete resident work orders within the timelines established by the General Manager Install and repair manufactured-home skirting using proper installation practices Perform minor roof repairs, including metal-roof coatings and asphalt-shingle repairs Install and repair vinyl siding Install single-pane and double-pane windows Install and repair interior and exterior doors Perform finish carpentry and interior repairs, including drywall, painting, flooring, and trim Winterize water lines and complete water-line repairs Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting and minor repairs Complete minor plumbing repairs, including replacing toilets and faucets and repairing leaks under sinks Complete minor electrical work, including replacing outlets, light fixtures, switches, and basic wiring Maintain clean and safe work areas Communicate professionally with residents, management, and other team members Qualifications General residential or manufactured-home maintenance experience Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, roofing, siding, and drywall repairs Ability to work independently and manage assigned work orders Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing repairs properly Dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift at least 50 pounds from the ground to waist height, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work in crawl spaces, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions Manufactured-home repair experience is preferred but not required for applicants with strong residential maintenance experience.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
