Star Cutter Company, is a family owned, globally recognized, manufacturer of custom cutting tools, Tool grinding machines, and Carbide. We are looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our facilities group. Our facilities maintenance technicians are responsible for building, grounds maintenance, equipment installations and improvements for all Star Cutter Company locations in Michigan's lower peninsula and at times the Chicago area. Job Responsibilities:
Installation and maintenance of various industrial equipment. Performs skilled and highly skilled facility maintenance work involving carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs and maintenance of managed buildings and facilities. Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on building systems. Support outside contractors, by interacting with them during times of service Read and follow manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions. Maintain accurate maintenance records. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with safety standards while maintaining equipment and facilities.
