Your mechanical aptitude and technical proficiency will ensure that each sign is securely mounted, properly wired, and functioning flawlessly. Duties Install a wide range of signs including illuminated, non-illuminated, digital, and static displays according to specifications and schematics Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately assemble and mount signage components Use electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot wiring issues and ensure electrical safety standards are met Conduct mechanical assessments of sign structures and perform necessary adjustments or repairs using heavy equipment mechanics skills when required Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and operational checks on signage systems to guarantee optimal performance Collaborate with project managers and clients to verify installation requirements and ensure timely completion of projects Maintain detailed records of installation procedures, technical diagnostics, and maintenance activities for each project Skills Strong electrical diagnostics skills with the ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics accurately Mechanical knowledge related to sign structures, mounting hardware, and heavy equipment mechanics Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices specific to signage systems Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics for precise installation work Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters confidently for troubleshooting electrical issues Technical proficiency in handling various tools and equipment necessary for sign installation and repair Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety standards and quality assurance This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to showcase their technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
