Full-Time | 100% Onsite Position Summary JB Cutting is looking for a mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position will support the day-to-day maintenance and repair needs of our manufacturing facility and equipment. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with our Maintenance Manager, who will continue to handle the more complex troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance projects. We're looking for someone with hands-on industrial maintenance experience who is comfortable working with machinery, diagnosing basic mechanical issues, and keeping equipment and facility systems running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical equipment issues. Assist the Maintenance Manager with larger or more complex repairs and maintenance projects. Respond to equipment issues and help minimize production downtime. Perform basic repairs and adjustments to machinery, equipment, and facility systems. Inspect equipment to identify wear, damage, or potential maintenance concerns. Replace worn or damaged components as needed. Assist with equipment installation, setup, and modifications. Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance work areas. Document completed maintenance and repairs as required. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment. Perform general facility maintenance as needed. Other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment. Basic understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems preferred. Ability to identify problems and determine when an issue should be escalated to the Maintenance Manager. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage day-to-day maintenance priorities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Must be comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work in and around manufacturing equipment. Ability to lift and move materials, tools, and equipment as required. Must be able to safely perform hands-on maintenance work in a manufacturing environment. What We're Looking For This is a great fit for someone who knows their way around industrial equipment and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty , but isn't necessarily looking for a senior-level maintenance position. You should be mechanically inclined, comfortable troubleshooting everyday equipment issues, and know when something needs to be kicked up to the Maintenance Manager. We're looking for someone dependable, practical, and willing to jump in wherever needed to help keep the shop running.
