Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and kitchen equipment. Your expertise will help us deliver seamless service and maintain a safe, efficient environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and service technician experience in a fast-paced setting where proactive maintenance makes a difference every day. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes quickly. Repair or replace faulty components in appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems with precision and efficiency. Install new appliances and mechanical equipment following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or maintenance tasks at various locations. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and inspections in compliance with operational procedures. Collaborate with team members to lead small maintenance projects or assist in larger construction or renovation initiatives as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic procedures for HVAC & appliance technology. Demonstrated ability to perform appliance installation and kitchen equipment maintenance effectively. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance across various systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members. Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices in commercial or industrial settings. Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is advantageous but not required. Leadership qualities that support teamwork and proactive problem-solving skills are highly valued.
