Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and versatile General Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and safety of our community facilities and grounds. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning and appearance of our properties. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct plumbing repairs and maintenance to address issues promptly and efficiently. Utilize hand tools for various repair, installation, and maintenance tasks. Perform maintenance painting to preserve and improve the appearance of buildings and structures. Plow and salt community roads during winter conditions to ensure safe access for residents and visitors. Carry out minor repairs as needed across the property, including fixtures, equipment, or structures. Perform grounds work such as landscaping, trimming, or general upkeep to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Qualifications Proven experience with plumbing repairs and maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools for various maintenance tasks. Ability to perform painting and surface finishing work. Experience with snow plowing and salting community roads is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle minor repairs independently. Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in different weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness in all tasks performed.
