Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair facilities equipment using schematics, electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters, hand tools, and welding techniques. Conduct repairs on electrical systems including wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Maintain building interior by executing painting (including residential painting), carpentry, drywall repairs, and general facilities maintenance tasks. Repair and service plumbing systems—address leaks, clogs, pipe repairs—and ensure plumbing system functionality. Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately; document all maintenance activities thoroughly. Lead small maintenance projects when necessary, demonstrating leadership in coordinating tasks with team members or contractors. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities while providing excellent customer service to staff and guests. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building repair roles with knowledge of HVAC system repair, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and mechanical systems. Strong understanding of schematics, electrical equipment repair, HVAC systems including HVAC system repair experience. Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, and familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; experience with maintenance painting is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of explaining technical issues clearly to team members or non-technical staff. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces as needed.
