We employ highly trained and certified installers that execute flooring solutions that are the foundation of our award-winning reputation. We are currently looking for a talented, hardworking, and dependable Floor Care Technician at our Plymouth, MI headquarters. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining floors and carpets in commercial spaces in the SE Michigan area. Candidates must be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and be available to work a flexible schedule. A drug test and background check must be completed before being hired. This is a full time, benefitted position.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain the cleanliness of the floors and carpets at assigned location or jobsites. Vacuum, mop, scrub and run machinery needed to remove any stains on a flooring surface to keep them in a hygienic state. Placing the proper signs or notifications nearby to assure jobsite safety. Proper use of solvents and chemical cleaners according to safety regulations and guidelines. In some cases, you may have to move furniture for floor access or be asked to perform other light duty cleaning tasks. Drive company vehicle(s) to assigned jobsites Typical shifts would begin in the afternoon/evening. Some morning and midday work may be available.Minimum Requirements:
Strong active listening capability and attention to detail needed to clearly understand what is required of tasks assigned. Prior floor cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required. Possess a valid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen. Authorized to work in theUnited States Starting Pay:
