Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) units, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances and equipment in commercial or industrial settings following safety protocols and manufacturer specifications. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, kitchen appliances, and other related equipment. Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks at various locations; ensure proper documentation of service activities. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed to support operational efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding maintenance status or issues needing attention. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently. Experience working with schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams for diagnostics and repairs. Knowledge of HVAC system repair—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration technology is essential. Ability to perform appliance installation and kitchen equipment maintenance confidently. Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices within industrial or commercial environments. Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely; clean driving record preferred.
