A manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for 2nd (3:00 P.M to 11:00 P.M). The Maintenance Technician is responsible for identifying, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdowns of all process and facility equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer breakdowns to ensure equipment remains operational. Document maintenance tasks, both unplanned and preventative. Properly communicate verbally and in writing to management what breakdowns are occurring and the next steps for corrective action. Maintain professionalism and follow policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Able to lift 50lbs Understanding of pumps, black pipe, PVC, controls, PLC, and HMI. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Test/troubleshoot electrical panels and control circuits. Demonstrate problem solving, planning and decision making. MIG/Arc welding Excellent organizational and follow-up skills Maintain professionalism with colleagues and management. Understanding of industry safety standards. Qualifications and Education Requirements 5-10 years minimum of relevant manufacturing maintenance experience is required.
