We are a local garage door supplier and service business with huge potential for growth with the right team members. Our service area stretches from Traverse City to Frankfort, Northport, Copemish, Eastport and more. We run large trucks stocked with a wide range of parts in order to complete jobs on our first trip. We are always busy, meaning we offer year-round employment and have plenty of work to allow for overtime once you're trained as an installer and service technician. Experience is preferred, but not essential as we'll train the right candidate. A basic knowledge of hand and power tools is important, but what really matters is your eagerness to learn and your commitment to getting the job done right the first time. The right candidate will be motivated to work quickly to complete as many jobs as possible during the workday. You'll be presentable and polite when interacting with customers. You'll take pride in your work. You'll have great attention to detail and ask questions when unsure about something. You'll be able to lift a reasonable weight and work independently, once trained, and as a team. A valid, clean drivers' license is preferred in order to drive one of our service trucks. Our commitment to our customers is the priority. When we say we'll be there for an appointment, we absolutely do not want to fail them. So if we're running behind schedule, willingness and availability to work late occasionally in order to complete our scheduled jobs is important.
