Automotive metal stamping company seeks Maintenance Technician/Stamping Press Repair - must have trouble-shooting skills as well as experience with electrical controls, press controls, secondary operations, hydraulic & pneumatics. The Maintenance Technician/Stamping Press Repair person is responsible for keeping all manufacturing equipment running to meet the quality and timing requirements of our customers. $1,000.00 SIGN
ON BONUS AFTER 120 DAYS
Essential duties include the following: Daily inspections of equipment Electrical repair Routine PM Repair of conveyors, drills, mills, lathes, overhead doors, etc... Mechanical repairs to all equipment Completing daily records Working at heights Hydraulic repairs Pneumatic repairs Perform troubleshooting on machines and determine how to repair them. Verify stock of critical repair items. Perform inspections on schedule. Job Requirements Candidate must have a minimum 4 years' experience in machine maintenance or have a Journeyman status. An understanding of basic electrical repair. Must have strong mechanical aptitude and trouble-shooting skills. Candidate must possess good communication skills, have the ability to train fellow employees and communicate ideas to others. Must have own tools. Proficient in mechanical and electrical repair of stamping press. Ability to diagnose and correct electrical issue using prints and ladder logic diagrams. Ability to perform periodic inspections of press and feed equipment. Qualifications General knowledge of shop math Knowledge of MIOSHA requirements as applied to machine maintenance Electrical maintenance and machining skills Forklift, Overhead crane, and Aerial work platform Experience with 480v, 240v, 110v, and 24v
