Job Description
Description 2nd ShiftJob ResponsibilitiesPerforms routine inspections and maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
Performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance according to procedures to ensure minimal downtime of equipment.
Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the facility, including doors, windows, and flooring.
Installs equipment, components, and systems with and without outside services.
Identifies and reports potential safety hazards.
Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, and inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
Inspects tools, parts, and equipment regularly to ensure good working condition, and requests replacements as needed.
Follows all safety regulations and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Other duties as assigned.
Job Skills RequirementsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Physical & Environmental RequirementsSome physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours). Qualifications EducationHigh School (preferred) Experience•Some prior maintenance experience preferred but not required.
