Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facilities equipment using schematics, hand tools, and specialized testing devices such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance tasks to uphold the aesthetic and functional quality of the hotel's interior spaces. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated building systems and troubleshoot issues effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair logs, schematics updates, and inventory of maintenance supplies. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or renovations to ensure timely completion. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff to resolve issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance and repair operations (MRO). Proficiency in electrical work including electrical equipment repair, wiring, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters. Experience with HVAC system repair and building interior maintenance to ensure guest comfort and safety. Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair along with plumbing system troubleshooting. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively; familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. Knowledge of residential painting techniques for aesthetic touch-ups within the hotel environment. Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate with external contractors when needed. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective collaboration with team members.
