Person will be responsible for the general maintenance of Clearwater DAC, Stop Drop and Shop Thrift Store and Pine Ridge Residence buildings, grounds, and equipment. Drive the routes to pick up clients of the DAC in the morning and evenings. Complete monthly inspections of equipment. Attend meetings and trainings at the Discretion of the supervisor. Must be able to lift 50lbs or more. Drive the routes to pick up and drop off clients. Assist clients when on the route if needed. Change the snow blowing equipment over to mowing, seasonally. Mow all of Pine Ridge, Clearwater DAC, and old office grounds seasonally. Remove snow by shoveling, using walk behind snow blower, lawn mower with blower and plow truck as needed but before clients arrive and routes are done in the morning and the evening. Performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment when something breaks down. Complete work orders within 3 days of receiving them. Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts and maintains cleanliness to interior and exterior of vehicles as needed. Fills salt in Water softeners in all buildings by carrying it up and downstairs, orders salt and piles the salt in the appropriate buildings. Replaces broken windows; repairs doors, door locks and closets; installs window blinds. Completes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures. Operates a computer to do ordering of supplies as needed. Responds to emergency maintenance requests when they arise, this could be any hour of the day or on the weekend. Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings, repairs plaster and drywall of building structures and the painting that this may require. Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures. Performs outside custodial duties. Keeping sidewalks, parking lots clear of snow and ice. Mowing grass and raking at regular intervals. Watering of grass and shrubs. Keeps accurate inventory of tools and equipment. Performs monthly checks on all fire alarm and fire extinguishers within all buildings. Obtains estimates for possible remodels, replacement of parts, or any other estimate that may be needed. Assist the Fire Marshal and other agencies when they come in and do inspections, so you are available to answer questions. Attend meetings at the Discretions of the Executive Director. And/or all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma, must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, valid driver's license, excellent driving record, good people skills and the ability to repair and maintain equipment, buildings, and vehicles. The ability to work with people with disabilities on a daily basis.
