Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Your expertise in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC systems, and general facilities maintenance will ensure our residents enjoy a well-maintained living environment. Duties Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation. Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures. Complete unit turns including painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and facilities upkeep to uphold high standards of resident experience. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various repair tasks such as welding, carpentry, or electrical work. Respond promptly to resident service requests with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction while maintaining clear communication throughout the process. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial property maintenance with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and facilities equipment maintenance. Mechanical (boiler system) knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment repair, maintenance painting, carpentry skills including building interior maintenance. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
