Starting Pay:
$28.64/hour

$33.18 per hour after 12 months in role (with completion of required training)
$35.08 per hour within 12-18 months in role (with completion of required training)
$33.18 per hour within18+ months in role (with completion of required training)
Up to 120 hours (10 days) vacation annually (depending on schedule)

6:00 pm to 6 am night shift
Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend
Cycle length is 2 weeks
Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and emergency events
OT Rate of 1.5 of payrate after 40 hours
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
Plantoperates24 hours/day, 7 days/week
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
As part of our manufacturing team, you will: Repair and maintain production equipment and facilities during assigned production shift in order to meet budget levels in quality and quantity
Maintain assigned paperwork
Complete assigned tasks and special projects
Promotes and exhibits strong Food Safety and Quality practices
Promotes and exhibits strong sustainability practices
Promotes and exhibits strong housekeeping practices
Must report Safety, Food Safety, and Quality, Sustainability and Housekeeping problems to direct supervisor immediately
Actively participate in teams and on projects to improve the metrics for given area of responsibility
Assist Autonomous Maintenance process in plant
Perform other duties as assigned
Support maintenance foundational systems for the line(s), including Defect Handling, Breakdown Elimination, and Planning & Scheduling
Assist Maintenance Lead in execution of Line Team 90 Day Improvement Plan
Participate in Line Team meetings as needed
Provide support during planned stops
Adherence to Maximo data standards and use Maximo as a problem solving tool
Support Maintenance Lead in identifying recurring maintenance problems; recommend and execute solutions
Maintain clean work environment
Early management of downtimes, changeovers, cleans, preventative maintenance, etc.
Ability to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on line equipment as well as reactive work when lines are down
Support engineering and capital project work as needed
Ability and aptitude to learn and perform jobs on and off the platform
Ability to learn and perform minor machining and welding, TIG, MIG, and ARC
Assistother plant areas as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to purchase or have tools required for maintenance jobs per minimum requirement
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment
Associates Degree or relevant or 2 years of experience with no degree
Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of PLC operation, electrical components and systems troubleshooting, including use of a multimeter
Mustpossessthe ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplaceregardingwork matters (our business isgenerally conductedin English)
Ability tolift upto 50lbs
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods
Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions
Ability to climb and/or work at heights whileutilizingstairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards
Ability to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net,gloves,and face masks (whenrequired)
Ability to work around high-speed machinery and foodallergens
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Manufacturing or production experience
Basic shop equipment (mill, lathe, grinder, presses, etc) preferred
Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred
Seamer mechanic experience preferred
